Your tasks:

  • You will develop a commercial strategy in line with the business plan and revenue budget for the hotels in your area of responsibility.
  • You will define sales targets in collaboration with colleagues from Revenue Management.
  • You will monitor and coordinate the sales targets and take the necessary measures to achieve them.
  • You will lead and motivate your entire sales team to ensure that targets are met.
  • You will create budgets that are aligned with the action plans for different business sources and markets.
  • You will lead regular follow-up meetings and present your region together with Revenue Management.
  • You will look after your hotels and be in close contact with the General Managers.
  • You will maintain relationships and represent the Meliá Hotels International brand.
  • You will work closely with our marketing team.
  • You will report directly to the Sales VP at the Palma de Mallorca headquarters.

What we are looking for:

  • You have at least 3 years of professional experience in a comparable position.
  • You have a very good command of German and English; knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
  • You are passionate about your job, have strong communication skills, and are passionate about customer contact.
  • You enjoy working with numbers and have analytical skills.
  • You see your team as a whole and can respond individually to individual strengths and requirements.
  • You know the market.
