For our Media Manager business line we are looking for a professional who has significant experience in product development. Product owners at Virtual Minds work in cross-functional teams of developers, scrum masters, and user experience specialists and actively shape our products as innovation drivers.
Virtual Minds' latest product innovation focuses on the digitization of the medium TV and aims to transform the whole process world of broadcasters. As a holistic advertising engine we combine the functionalities of an ad server and SSP, which allows us to apply common digital logics to the domain of traditional linear TV. In this project the most exciting task is to find the right level of change to preserve the strengths of linear TV as a premium media channel.
What You Can Expect In This Role
- You will conduct in-depth research into both the TV and digital advertising ecosystems to uncover innovation opportunities that drive broadcaster transformation.
- In close collaboration with other product specialists and our monetization teams, you will shape our operational roadmap.
- You will lead strategic development initiatives that unlock substantial business potential for our company.
- You will translate your comprehensive concepts into work packages, supporting release planning and the coordination of potential migration steps.
- As a key member of the Scrum team, you will help navigate inter-team dependencies and actively contribute to cross-team architecture planning.
Your Essential Experience And Education
- Strong product management background is a prerequisite.
- Extensive experience in collaborating with 2 or more development teams to successfully deliver complex software within a scaled Scrum environment.
- Solid experience with stakeholder management and engagement as well as user research methodologies to uncover core processes, identify key requirements, and translate them into actionable concepts.
- Outstanding communication skills in English with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders. Ability to speak German is a plus.
- A solid grasp of digital and traditional advertising ecosystems, encompassing technical infrastructure, strategic market dynamics, campaign models, and commercial frameworks is a big plus.
