We are seeking a professional to join our Investment Banking team in Munich, utilizing their skills to impact Goldman Sachs' success.

The Cross Markets Group focuses on expanding coverage of corporate clients and sponsor portfolio companies across all industries, providing M&A, financing, and other corporate finance solutions using dedicated resources from within the team.

Role Responsibilities

Our Associates develop and strengthen client relationships, participate in advisory teams, and execute financial transactions. Responsibilities include creating financial models, preparing client presentations, managing transaction processes, and assisting in structuring transactions. They gain exposure to the firm's businesses and develop analytical, communication, and marketing skills.

Associates perform company valuation analyses, participate in M&A transactions, and handle fixed income and equity issuances. They prepare industry trend presentations, assess client situations, and recommend strategies. They coordinate with tax advisors, attorneys, and bankers, lead due diligence, and participate in legal negotiations. Associates are vital in structuring client transactions and maintaining client communication.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' investment banking or equivalent experience
