Job Description

In your new role you will:

• Provide SW solutions to support all aspects of the technical documentation flow, extracting information from source databases, manipulating content to required standards, building reports, and preparing content to interact with AI solutions
• Be responsible for documentation deliverables that meet the required documentation standards and processes
• Pro-actively drive the workflow from information creation to external release at given milestones
• Contribute to the documentation content architecture to handle different platforms, multiple product variants, and numerous document types
• Contribute solutions and ideas to improving the efficiency and accuracy of our documentation deliveries
• Ensure the quality and consistency of our documentation according to company standards and division guidelines
• Support and train engineers as necessary to work with the company CCMS and to contribute to the documentation flows
  
  

Your Profile

As a Documentation Coding Engineer, you manage your performance consistently and reliably. Furthermore, you concentrate your creativity and knowledge on producing results with real added value. Lastly, you produce results even in changing circumstances.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A degree in Computer Science, Technical Communication, Electrical Engineering or similar field
• At least 1 year of professional experience in Software Engineering. Experience in technical writing would be a plus
• Good programming knowledge and AI/LLM related skills, complemented by proficiency in tools and languages such as Python, XML (preferably DITA XML), Tableau, and Jenkins
• Basic understanding of a Component Content Management System (CCMS) and the concept of modular documentation
• A Methodical and thorough approach to tasks, and a proactive, problem-solving mentality
• Willingness to continuously learn and question
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken). German language proficiency would be a plus
