Job Description:

Siemens Energy is seeking a highly skilled Lead Data and Platform Architect to join the Digital Core function. You will lead the design and implementation of data architecture solutions, collaborating closely with stakeholders across the organization to develop strategies supporting data management, analytics, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement data architecture solutions, focusing on data lakes and related technologies.
• Harmonize and integrate multiple data platforms with robust, future-proof designs.
• Translate business requirements into effective data architecture solutions.
• Establish and enforce data architecture standards, best practices, and guidelines.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data teams.
• Evaluate and recommend new data technologies and tools for scalability and security.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Proven experience as a lead data architect with expertise in data lakes and related technologies.
• Strong knowledge of data architecture principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience with Snowflake, ETL/ELT processes, BI technologies, AWS and/or Azure platforms, MS Power Suite.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, leadership, and strategic thinking skills.
