Master Thesis in Polymer Synthesis (all genders)

Your role:

We offer the opportunity for a Master thesis on the synthesis of innovative polymers for biomedical applications within a R&D team in Life Science. These polymers will be applied in delivery systems for pharmaceutically active compounds. You will join a cross-disciplinary and dynamic team where you will participate in developing cutting-edge technologies in the field of drug delivery. With your thesis embedded in an ongoing research project, you will gain exposure to an industry setting while your results directly impact applications. Beyond performing experiments and analytics, literature searches and data interpretation, the project offers the opportunity to work in an interdisciplinary environment.

Who you are:

• Bachelor or equivalent in Chemistry, Nano-/Polymer Science or related discipline.
• Very good knowledge of polymer chemistry. Practical experience in polymer synthesis and analytics.
• Self-motivated and eager, striving to acquire new skills and able to work independently.
• Enjoying dynamic and interdisciplinary teams.
• Organizational and communication skills.
• Excellent knowledge of German and English.

Duration: 6 months, starting in May 2025
