The KLA Services team headquartered in Milpitas CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing Spares Supply Chain management Field Operations Engineering Product Training and Technical Support. The KLA Services organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include : proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers 24 / 7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.

Job Description / Preferred Qualifications

Do you want to work on some of the most complex and cutting edge technologies in a dynamic environment with good career opportunities if so KLA is searching for Engineers to join our installation team in Europe securing proper tool installation at KLA customer sites & completing all activities required to ensure a KLA tool functions accurately!

Our Installation engineers are a critical part of our new product deployment projects while traveling to some of the most advanced factories in the world they work in multicultural teams to meet our project commitments.

Key responsibilities include :

Hold preinstallation meetings with the customer to scope customer unique requirements. Create a plan of action to measure / confirm / satisfy unique customer needs. Validate deliverables with customers.

Install tool at customer site to meet KLA specifications through system testing according to procedures. This includes but is not limited to : light source and optical integration and precision alignment; wafer handler robot integration and teaching; camera and collection optics alignment and calibration; systemlevel calibrations and verification; performance testing for sensitivity and repeatability; stability and cleanliness testing; applications verification and product wafer validation.

Solving complex system issues in a timely manner using abstract thought data analysis sevenstep problemsolving methodology and other available tools.

Management of critical issues across customers and regions.

After system testing meet with the customer to facilitate verification of the tool performance during which the validation of the tool is performed to ensure it is properly functioning.

Management of customer satisfaction through preactivity meetings routine update meetings escalation meetings postactivity meetings and warranty meetings.

Perform install / customerfocused application testing to approve the operational quality of the tool.

Provide new product installation training to worldwide customer support engineering.

Minimum Qualifications

• Technical degree / diploma in engineering mechanical electrical electronic engineering or equivalent work experience.
• 23 years semiconductor industry work experience is a bonus.
• Panel of competencies in optical mechanic electronic lithography metrology and laser technology is desirable.
• Good level technical & analytical skills ability to understand and solve problems in software and electronic optic mechanical electromechanical or electrooptical systems.
• Knowledge of computer theory operating systems i.e. MS Windows.
• Good interpersonal / communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and work to project deadlines.
• Available to travel internationally.
