Job Description:

We at our location in Heusenstamm near Frankfurt am Main in Germany are looking for a Solar Product Development Manager (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible in a full-time position.

Responsibilities include:

1. Development of new BIPV/BAPV systems for flat and pitched roof solutions
2. Technical improvement of the BMI PV Product Portfolio
3. Ensuring products are tested and meet certification and in-house quality criteria
4. Participation in national and international solar standardization committees
5. Building knowledge about BIPV/BAPV rules and regulations
6. Managing internal and external product testing and certification, including reporting and product approval
7. Creating structured and comprehensible product documentation
8. Preparing technical training documents and delivering training to internal teams
9. Carrying out laying trials and test installations of PV systems
10. Active participation in solar standards committees

Your profile:

1. Technical background and professional experience in photovoltaic area
2. Completed technical studies, Bachelor or Master, preferably in renewable energies or electrical engineering
3. Good understanding of roofing and solar standards
4. Practical technical skills with a hands-on approach
5. Proficiency in English for communication and writing
6. Ability to work in a team
7. Good time management skills
8. Ability to work independently
9. Highly motivated with good communication and organizational skills
