Our AI-based energy trading in the European market complements our battery storage solutions.

Our Team: The energy trading unit is responsible for optimizing assets across all markets, balancing renewables, and proprietary trading. We trade short-term power algorithmically across an expanding geographical scope with a highly technical team of veteran software engineers, AI experts, and power trading professionals.

Your Tasks:

• Building and maintaining our trading system and supporting systems (data layer for timeseries and non-timeseries data, CRM, etc.)
• Creating new concepts and flows with the trading team to improve systems
• Setting up and maintaining cloud infrastructures for high availability
• Communicating with external service providers to build and maintain API connections
• Setting up and maintaining monitoring systems for technical and business purposes
• Supporting the trading team with system and infrastructure maintenance, including Python development for algo trading and ML models

Qualifications:

• University degree in computer or natural sciences, mathematics, or economics
• Extensive experience with Node.js & TypeScript, libraries like expressJS & zod
• Experience with databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, etc.)
• Experience with system integrations, APIs, messaging systems, streaming, microservices, high-load applications
• Experience with React & TypeScript
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub, Git
• Experience with trading systems is a plus
• Experience with Python, ML, statistical modeling is a plus
