Want to work as a bus driver but don’t yet have sufficient German language skills? No problem! We prepare you with our language training program to give you the perfect start to your new job.

SSB is the local public transport company that keeps Stuttgart and the surrounding region moving. Over 3,700 SSB employees bring more than 600,000 passengers to their destination every day – quickly, affordably, comfortably and sustainably. This is our mission, but of course we still have much more to do – and that is why we need you to join our team of drivers in the greater Stuttgart area.

Your duties:

• At the Volkshochschule Stuttgart you will start with a 2- to 4-month language course designed specifically for full-time bus drivers.
• We will then train you in a 4-week course on bus fares and routes at our own driving school in Stuttgart-Möhringen.
• After successfully completing this course, you will safely transport our passengers from A to B in the greater Stuttgart area – you will work in a shift system, also on weekends and holidays.
• Finally, you will be able to answer all questions on bus fares and routes, and you will handle the sale and control of tickets.

We are asking the following:

• A EU-driving license for buses, with no more than 2 points for traffic violations.
• German language skills at A1 level and above.
• General technical know-how.
• Willingness to work in shifts, on weekends and on holidays.
