Your Role:

For the Surface Solutions business, we provide an exciting opportunity as Senior Project Manager Surface Solutions Strategy & Transformation. This role plays a pivotal role in advancing the business strategy for the Surface Solutions business at a pivotal time. This interface position is an ideal fit for a strategic thinker who initiates and tracks strategy realization, leads strategic projects with an initial focus on the integration, and provides market and competitor intelligence to drive the business to higher levels of success.

Responsibilities:

  1. Shape Surface Solutions Business Strategy: Support & steer definition and implementation of 5-year business strategy for Surface Solutions. Regularly update 5-year plans and translate into annual priorities and initiatives. Initiate and track strategy realization. Coordinate and steer strategy realization for other interface partners contributing to the strategy such as Strategic Product Management, Global Marketing, or other Functions.
  2. Drive Integration & Other Strategic Projects: Drive the integration with GNMI for the overall business and synergy realization; from development of plans to implementing and tracking the realization. Define and lead different strategic projects in Surface Solutions derived from the 5-year strategy and annual priorities beyond M&A integration, reorganization/restructuring projects, Business Development/portfolio enhancements, etc.
  3. Drive Change Management: Accompany significant organizational changes through change management activities for the Business Unit.
  4. Market & Competitor Intelligence: Monitor and analyze market developments (e.g., macro-economic market environment, relevant [end-]markets) as well as competitor landscape (key competitor financials & strategic activities).

Who you are:

  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Strategy, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  2. Minimum 5-8 years of experience in strategy development, business transformation, or management consulting, preferably within the Surface Solutions or related industry.
  3. Strong ability to develop, analyze, and implement business strategies, with a deep understanding of market trends and competitive landscapes.
  4. Proven track record in managing complex projects, including M&A integration, restructuring, and business development initiatives.
  5. Experience in driving organizational change, stakeholder engagement, and facilitating smooth transitions during strategic transformations.
  6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and external partners.
