Job Description:

About the Role

As the NRM Excellence Manager, you will play a crucial role in optimizing the NRM culture and capability of our Consumer Goods business across diverse markets in Europe. Your main role will be to drive the NRM culture and capability roadmap for Consumer Goods EMEA, transforming processes for identifying NRM opportunities, setting strategies, executing, and supporting implementation.

Reporting to the Net Revenue Management Lead for Consumer Goods EMEA, you will work closely with stakeholders such as the Commercial Excellence Team, Regional Net Revenue Managers, Business Development Managers, external consultants, and Regional Customer Marketing Directors to lead our NRM culture and capability journey.

This role requires NRM knowledge, structured change management, organizational skills, and entrepreneurial behaviors.

What You Will Do:

  1. Develop and implement the NRM culture & capability roadmap for the business unit in collaboration with regional stakeholders.
  2. Lead capability-building projects like the NRM Academy, including content development, training delivery, and managing external partners.
  3. Maintain and update the business unit’s NRM playbooks, ensuring alignment and adoption.
  4. Drive the implementation of new ways of working through pilots and regional partnerships, monitoring activities across geographies.
  5. Assess NRM maturity across regions, measure progress, and communicate results.
  6. Benchmark and enhance processes to stay at the forefront of NRM best practices, incorporating external expertise as needed.
  7. Create an online hub for NRM resources.
  8. Be an active member of Essity’s NRM community.
  9. Establish benchmarking methods to compare Essity’s NRM maturity with peers.

Who You Are:

  1. Extensive FMCG industry experience in commercial or strategic roles.
  2. Proven experience in Revenue Growth Management, Net Revenue Management, or related fields within FMCG/CPG or consulting.
  3. Strong organizational skills to manage large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  4. Excellent collaboration skills within matrix organizations and international teams.
  5. Deep understanding of NRM concepts like Brand Portfolio Pricing, Price Pack Architecture, Mix Management, Promotion Strategy, and Trade Investment.
  6. Innovative mindset to pioneer new ways of working and drive organizational change.
  7. Strong communication and presentation skills, with influence and leadership abilities.
  8. Supportive, principled, and collaborative problem-solving skills.
  9. Positive, motivating presence within high-performing teams.
  10. Fluent in English.
  11. Willingness to travel 20-30% per month.
