ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Logistics Analyst I to join our team in Ramstein, Germany.

Overview

The selected candidate will provide logistics support to customers globally on the Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities Sustainment (ALECS) program. This position will assist in ensuring the operational readiness of pre-positioned WRM, focusing on preventive maintenance, serviceability, and availability of critical medical materiel established by the Air Force, enabling rapid response during contingency operations.

Important Note

*Selected candidates without an ACTIVE German/E.U. Work Visa will work in a Temporary role for the first 60 days while obtaining their Visa. Once approved, they will be offered a Full-Time German Contract, subject to German taxes, healthcare, and labor regulations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Scheduling preventive maintenance on War Reserve Materiel (WRM) to ensure operational readiness per AFMAN 41-209 standards and conducting regular serviceability inspections of WRM assets.
  2. Managing the shelf-life extension programs (SLEP) for WRM, tracking expiration dates, and coordinating replenishment.
  3. Utilizing Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) to monitor and update WRM inventory records.
  4. Providing logistics support to critical War Reserve Material (WRM).
  5. Assisting senior personnel and performing functional duties under supervision.
  6. Analyzing and coordinating logistical functions, maintaining work order documentation, and managing procurement from vendors.
  7. Packing, shipping, receiving, transporting parts, items, and equipment, and performing related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of logistics experience with a bachelor’s degree in a related field, or 7+ years with an associate degree, or 9+ years of logistics experience.
  • At least 1 year focused on materiel readiness.
  • Knowledge of DMLSS for inventory tracking and maintenance documentation.
  • Knowledge of Air Force logistics policies (e.g., AFMAN 41-209).
  • Experience in receipt, accountability, and inventory of equipment and spare parts.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening.
  • Valid Driver’s License for the work location.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements for deployment, if needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Valid German or European Work VISA.
  • Familiarity with military or commercial logistics systems and equipment standards.
  • Experience with U.S. Air Force Medical Materiel Specialty or similar.
  • Familiarity with ASMS for WRM status monitoring.
  • Experience ensuring materiel readiness in contingency operations.

Clearance and Physical Requirements

  • Must obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks such as bending, carrying, crouching, and working with computers.
