Project Manager for the Introduction of an Enterprise Content Management System

Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences is looking for a project manager in the central organizational unit IT-DuA from immediately for a fixed-term period of 2 years for the introduction of an Enterprise Content Management System/document management system (100 %).

Your tasks:

  • Project management for the university-wide introduction of an enterprise content management system/document management system (ECM/DMS):
    • Creating and coordinating the project definition
    • Planning the introduction
    • Involving and supporting the specialist departments
    • Project documentation
  • Coordination of project planning:
    • Interface function to the external manufacturer/service provider
    • Analysis of requirements and documentation of processes in cooperation with the specialist departments
    • Advising the specialist departments on the implementation of requirements
    • Carrying out tests
  • Designing and implementing training courses and advising users on how to use the software solution
  • Consolidation of the ECM/DMS:
    • Integration of new areas/content functions in the system
    • Documentation of configurations and creation of instructions

Your profile:

  • Completed university degree in computer science, business informatics or an economics or comparable degree with IT qualification components (Bachelor or FH diploma)
  • At least 3 years of professional experience based on the degree
  • Very good knowledge in the areas of project and process management
  • Very good knowledge of advising the specialist side
  • Very good knowledge of an ECM/DMS system, ideally M-Files
  • Ideally knowledge of the administrative processes of a university
  • Good knowledge of German and English (comparable to B2 level)
  • Independent, structured, analytical and solution-oriented way of working
  • Very good organizational and communication skills with high social competence
  • Ability to familiarize yourself independently with complex issues
  • Ability to recognize new task areas from the user's perspective
  • High motivation, initiative and commitment
  • Team player and enjoy communicating with users
  • Gender and diversity competence is a prerequisite

Remuneration is based on pay group 13 of the collective agreement for the employees of the state of Hesse (TV-H). Severely disabled people with equal qualifications are preferred.
