This role involves ensuring the safety of industrial plants amidst increasing interconnectivity, focusing on Operational Technology Security, energy generation, and infrastructure expansion.

Core Areas

  • Pressure Equipment & Plant Engineering: Inspection, testing, and certification of pressure vessels, boilers, tanks, and piping.
  • Elevators & Conveyor Technology: Inspection and certification of elevators, conveyor belts, escalators, and machinery.
  • Electrical & Building Technology: Evaluation, testing, and certification of electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems.
  • Industrial Inspection & Material Testing: Inspection and testing of industrial facilities and materials.
  • Infrastructure & Project Management: Supervision and services for infrastructure projects.
  • Energy & Environment: Support and certification for renewable energy and sustainable solutions.
  • Cybersecurity & Functional Safety: Testing and certification for industrial automation, IT, and OT security solutions.

Responsibilities & Tasks

  • As an expert, you will evaluate pipeline systems and their components, including transport lines and associated equipment.
  • You will assess systems in energy technology, particularly according to GasHDrLtgV and RohrFLtgV regulations.
  • Evaluating the suitability of pipelines for hydrogen transport will be a key aspect of your role.
  • You will prepare reports on the safety status of installations and components.
  • You will independently manage project execution.
  • During your training, you will be mentored by experienced professionals and participate in extensive technical training and team meetings.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
  • Several years of relevant professional experience, preferably in pipeline technology.
  • Knowledge of technical standards, guidelines, and regulations (e.g., DVGW, RohrFLtgV, BetrSichV, DGRL 2014/68/EU).
  • Qualification in non-destructive testing of materials (desirable).
  • Excellent German and basic English skills.
  • Class B driver's license and willingness to travel.
