Pricing Manager - Ocean Freight

The role involves ensuring the smooth operation of the Global Ocean LCL Product Pricing, with proactive measures and process optimization in alignment with various teams such as Tender Management, Regional Pricing Competency Centre (PCC), Global LCL Team, Regions, and Countries.

Key responsibilities include managing procurement of NAC and FAK agreements within the existing portfolio of preferred co-load partners (PCP), developing best practices for pricing to optimize efficiency, and monitoring the tariff landscape in G-R8 for completeness and competitiveness.

In collaboration with the Global Ocean LCL Director, the candidate will develop selling concepts, deliver accurate pricing for tenders, engage with preferred co-load partners, review and approve global internal pricing, and participate in tender and negotiation processes. Monitoring customer performance and managing rate reviews are also essential.

The role requires managing Ocean LCL pricing data within Geodis' Global Rate Data Base (G-R8), ensuring data accuracy, and supporting regional teams to maintain competitive local charges and inland transport costs.

Ideal candidates will have a college degree or equivalent experience, at least 5 years of experience in global ocean forwarding, strong negotiation skills, proven procurement management, and excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
