As an HR Manager you will play a key role in shaping our company culture and supporting the growth of our talented team. Our AIdriven legal solutions are transforming the legal industry and your expertise in people management will help us attract retain and develop top talent.

YOUR TEAM

You will collaborate closely with leadership and all departments to create an engaging inclusive and highperforming work environment. As the sole operational HR contact you will oversee all aspects of the employee experience from onboarding to payroll and development.

Your responsibilities

Administrative HR : Handle preparatory payroll tasks; a tax office executes final payroll

Manage contracts employee records and legal compliance

Onboarding : Organize and conduct onboarding to ensure smooth employee integration into the company

Employee Development : Establish feedback structures support managers in team development and foster continuous professional growth

Recruiting : Own the full hiring process from sourcing and interviewing to hiring ensuring top talent acquisition and retention

Feel Good Management : Plan events promote engagement and be the goto person for employee wellbeing

HR Setup & Growth : Strategically build and adapt HR structures ensuring scalable processes and policies that support company growth

Independent Responsibility : Own the entire HR function ensuring efficient and effective processes as the sole operational HR professional.

About you

• Experience : At least 5 years of experience in HR with a broad understanding of diverse HR topics; ideally gained in startups or scaleups of various sizes
• Expertise : Proven experience in People Operations managing feedback cycles and building HR structures in a growing company
• Work Style : Selfreliant proactive and able to ensure a steady employee experience in a dynamic environment.
• Mindset : Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning and openness to new technologies
• Personality : Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for working with peopleopen approachable and always ready to help
• Languages : Fluent in English and German

The AI startup Xayn develops Noxtua Europes first sovereign Legal AI. Noxtua helps lawyers analyze and draft legal documents and research legal questions while being legally competent and compliant. Hosted in the EU Noxtua meets high standards of confidentiality in handling client data professional secrecy (e.g. Section 203 German Criminal Code Section 43e German Federal Code for Lawyers) and European data protection. Noxtua is powered by specialized proprietary AI models. The models are trained with highquality legal data provided by the Legal AI Alliance which the tech startup Xayn initiated with the international business law firm CMS. This makes Noxtua the secure independent and specialized European Legal AI.

The Berlinbased AI company Xayn was born out of research at Oxford University and Imperial College London by Dr LeifNissen Lundbk and Professor Michael Huth. Founded in 2017 Xayns academic vision remains with a workforce comprised of approx. 30 PhDs. The startup has received investment funding of 19.5 million EURO from Global Brain Corporation KDDI Open Innovation Fund Earlybird and Dominik Schiener.
