As an Account Manager for Metal Framing & Pipe Supports (MF&PS), you serve existing customers and identify new growth opportunities to generate revenue, improve profitability, and support business growth. Develop strong consultative relationships with key partners, end-users, OEMs, and other stakeholders to ensure our MF&PS products are specified and purchased, meeting sales targets.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will implement the regional MF&PS strategy in Germany and achieve set targets.

This position is based in Germany.

  1. As an ambitious sales professional with a hunter mentality, you will achieve business growth by leveraging your in-depth knowledge of MF&PS products, driving success in your region.
  2. Develop and implement the MF&PS sales strategy aligned with regional and European strategies.
  3. Analyze market opportunities to maximize margins and increase market penetration.
  4. Seek synergy opportunities across the NBU's in processes, tools, systems, shared workforces, cross-selling, and upselling.
  5. Understand the company's products/services and advise others accordingly.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with distribution partners to stay connected with local market characteristics.
  7. Drive sales excellence and performance across channels.
  8. Ensure pricing policies are in place for each sales channel.
  9. Forecast and report business sales volumes regularly.
  10. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Technical Services & Training, and other functions to share market insights and trends.
  11. Attend industry seminars, trade shows, and conferences for educational and customer engagement purposes.
  12. Use our CRM tool effectively to log calls, follow up on opportunities, and plan accounts.
  13. Work collaboratively as part of the team within the company.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in business or a technical field (preferable), 5-10 years of sales experience in HVAC, and strong technical and commercial confidence. Must possess strategic vision, excellent communication skills in English and German, and proficiency in MS Office. Experience with Salesforce.com and SAP is highly desirable. Ability to travel up to 75% is required.
