Job Responsibilities:

About the Role:

As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for dedicated customer accounts in terms of sales and relationship management for the MML product group. The Key Account Manager coordinates sales activities throughout the organization and is responsible for pricing structure, communicating customer needs, and coordinating strategic goals.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for quoting and negotiating potential new business.
  • Responsible for re-pricing according to contractual obligations for OES/Aftermarket parts and industry disruptions.
  • Responsible for planning new business and ensuring the Sales Database is updated accordingly by the responsible team member.
  • Responsible for reporting sales activities to the Group Office as per requirements (e.g., bi-weekly sales reports, quote log, recoveries, givebacks, commercial issues, etc.).
  • Supports other disciplines such as Quality, Program Management, and other customer-facing teams in interaction with the customer per MML Strategy and Policy.
  • Supports, develops, and executes the Sales Strategy.
  • Supports management in key business decision-making and Product/Platform Portfolio Strategy.
  • Supports Market Intelligence activities with Marketing.

Who we are looking for:

  • Minimum completion of a University of Applied Sciences degree in engineering, business administration, or related fields.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the automotive sector or a similar industry, directly dealing with OEMs.
  • Strong commercial and technical background.
  • Deep understanding of markets, technology, and key trends.
  • Analytical and numeric thinking skills.
  • Change management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and moderation skills.
  • Professional level English skills.
