Minimum qualifications:

  1. 13 years of experience working in the advertising industry.
  2. 7 years of people management experience leading customer-focused teams.
  3. Experience in developing, implementing, and executing business strategies.
  4. Experience working with customers and agency organizations.
  5. Fluent in English and German, as this is a customer-facing role.

Preferred qualifications:

  1. Experience leading teams with a proven track record in development and coaching of experienced teams/individuals.
  2. Knowledge of the creative and media industry, with a record of strategic and creative output that generates business, builds brands, and engages users.
  3. Ability to work in fast-paced environments with high autonomy, comfort with ambiguity, and operating in complex settings with multiple stakeholders.
  4. Excellent communication skills at C-level, including probing, listening, and synthesizing across all organizational levels.
  5. Strong connections within the marketing, creative, and media landscape in DACH.

Creative Works DACH is a team within Google providing strategic creative value to our largest customers in the region. We help companies elevate their brand and campaigns in an AI-powered world by collaborating on digital creative and marketing strategies, leveraging Google's diverse product range, especially YouTube and AI solutions.

Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners to leading brands and agencies, helping them navigate industry shifts and drive business performance by selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across platforms like Search, YouTube, and Measurement. As part of LCS, you'll sell at the forefront of technology, work with executives, influence market strategies, and deliver results that impact global businesses and Google’s growth.

Responsibilities

  1. Manage the Creative Works team in DACH to meet targets, coach, and develop team members.
  2. Collaborate with LCS management teams to identify and prioritize growth opportunities through creative consulting and solutions.
  3. Coordinate with other branding solutions teams to align creative solutions and offerings.
  4. Build relationships with cross-functional teams (e.g., gTech, Cloud) to ensure technical infrastructure supports scaled creative solutions.
  5. Develop a strategic plan for Creative Works in DACH to foster growth and market leadership, including driving AI-based creative solutions and tools.
