We offer exciting projects at our renowned customer Airbus Operations and are looking for a motivated employee for the position of "Buyer (m/f/d) Furnished Equipment Management Support".
- Lead, coordinate, and secure the End-to-End BFE management process from the Customer HoV (Head of Version) Kick-Off Meeting until the delivery of the last aircraft of the customized version.
- Ensure the on-time and on-quality release of BFE lists (including Required Part Numbers, Quantities, Delivery Date, and Location) to secure Customer Purchase Orders aligned with aircraft delivery schedules.
- Secure timely BFE ordering by airline and/or lessor customers.
- Identify and assess risks—commercial, contractual, certification, or industrial—that could impact BFE development, supply, or quality, and implement mitigation actions in coordination with relevant functions, escalating as necessary to customers, suppliers, or internal teams.
- Guarantee the on-time, high-quality delivery of BFEs and support Airbus Engineering and FAL teams for HoV and rebuilds.
- Monitor supplier performance and provide weekly reports on BFE development projects.
- Manage or contribute to strategic projects aimed at improving BFE management.
Your profile:
- Completed studies in aircraft construction, engineering, supply chain, or a comparable field.
- More than three years of professional experience in supplier management, aerospace, or supply chain management.
- More than two years of experience in product development.
- Good knowledge of project management and risk management.
- Familiarity with Taksy/Gesy/Tesy systems.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace.
- Proficient in German; knowledge of French or Spanish is an advantage.
