Job Description:

  • For a Munich-based, future-proof company from the software sector, we are currently looking for new employees (m/f/d) in the field of networks & Linux for a permanent position.

  • Planning and maintenance of a global network for the company's worldwide locations from the Munich HQ.
  • Optimization of the data center infrastructure in terms of reliability.
  • Network security with OpenBSD firewalls and network connection via leased lines and VPN.
  • Development and expansion of automated network configuration tools using, for example, Ansible or Python.
  • Support in maintaining the Linux server landscape (Debian 12, CentOS 8).

Profil

  • Completed studies or vocational training in the IT field.
  • Solid experience in network and data center environments.
  • Good experience with data center networks and Linux knowledge as well as handling monitoring systems.
  • Ideally, programming skills in scripting languages (Python, Bash).
  • Very good English skills (must have), German skills are an advantage (nice to have).
  • Willingness to participate in the currently existing on-call duty (approx. every six weeks, fully compensated - the on-call duty is planned to be outsourced in the medium term).
  • Permanent position at a stable company in the software industry with over 25 years of experience.
  • Hybrid work model (60% mobile office per week possible) & opportunity for mobile work from other European countries (workation).
  • Up to 12 days of training per year (once a month) possible.
