SQL Database Administrator (m / f / d)

Optimus Search has partnered with a leading service and technology platform in the financial industry, providing innovative FinTech applications to over 16,000 independent advisors and brokers. The company is shaping the future of the advisory, brokerage, and portfolio management processes, handling tasks from preparing offers to commission statements. As a key player in the financial services sector, they are looking to enhance their team with a skilled SQL Database Administrator to support and develop their database landscape.

Your Role :

• Strengthen the cross-location team in supporting, developing, and enhancing the company’s system infrastructure.
• Be responsible for the conception, performance, operation, and support of the database landscape.
• Collaborate with development teams, providing database expertise throughout the agile implementation process, from concept through to development, testing, and go-live.
• After production launch, serve as a point of contact for the first-level support team for any database-related technical issues.

What We’re Looking For :

• Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server , including administration , backup and recovery , performance tuning , and (PL-) SQL programming .
• Profound project experience in PowerShell and process automation .
• Practical experience with Azure SQL as part of daily work.
• Solid knowledge of Office 365 administration .
• Good foundational knowledge of network protocols , firewalls , and security .
• Interest in email server support , including protocols and certificates.
• A careful, independent working style with a commitment to accuracy.
• Strong teamwork skills , willingness to perform , and a personal commitment to continuous development .
