POSITION
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic IT Service Manager (All genders) to join our Corporate IT team in Cologne. In this role, you will address complex technical challenges and work closely with colleagues across all departments and levels to support their technical needs.
CHALLENGE
- Plan, coordinate, and manage the delivery of IT services, including infrastructure, applications, security, and support.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients and internal users, understanding their business requirements and expectations.
- Define and implement strategies, policies, processes, and procedures, ensuring compliance with best practices and standards.
- Oversee resources, contracts, and vendors to improve cost-efficiency and quality of IT services.
- Coach and develop the IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and measure the performance and availability of services, reporting on SLAs, KPIs, and customer feedback.
- Analyze and resolve issues, incidents, and problems, ensuring timely and effective communication and escalation.
- Identify and implement improvement opportunities, aligning with business objectives and IT strategy.
FOR THIS EXCITING MISSION YOU ARE EQUIPPED WITH…
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least three years of experience in IT service management, preferably in a similar role or industry.
- Knowledge of IT service management frameworks such as ITIL, COBIT, or ISO.
- Proficient in IT service management tools, such as Jira.
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Customer-oriented, results-driven, and quality-focused mindset, committed to continuous learning and improvement.
- IT service management certification is a plus.
- Fluency in English, spoken and written.
