Coordinator Transportation Operations & Projects (m/w/d)

Join our Transport & Distribution Team as a Coordinator Transportation Operations & Projects (m/w/d) in Unterschleißheim, near Munich (hybrid option).

This role involves operational support for the transport team and managing projects in transportation and logistics. You will develop transport solutions to ensure growth strategies and expand digitalization concepts in transportation.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze data to support supply chain projects
• Collaborate in interdisciplinary teams to address various tasks
• Identify and implement measures for process optimization and cost reduction
• Handle special processes, including follow-up and error correction
• Schedule and communicate shipping processes to transport providers
• Coordinate timely deliveries to customers and patients
• Check and code freight invoices and maintain freight statistics
• Distribute partial and full loads to major customers
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints based on quality systems
• Create and update training and work instructions for quality assurance

Requirements

• Degree in logistics management, business administration, or comparable professional experience in transport, logistics, or freight forwarding
• At least 2 years of experience in transportation
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel
• Good familiarity with ERP and transportation management systems
• Experience in project management
• Strong service orientation in dealings with internal and external customers
• Willingness to travel domestically and abroad
• Fluent German and good English skills
