Who are we?

We are 50Hertz, one of the four transmission system operators (TSO) in Germany. Together with the Belgian electricity grid operator Elia, we form the internationally active Elia Group. Over 2,100 employees ensure reliable, efficient, and minimal-loss electricity transmission across long distances. We play a key role in implementing the energy transition, aiming to integrate 100% renewable energy into the grid by 2032.
