Senior Patent Manager Litigation (f/m/d)

Are you looking to play a key strategic role in accelerating STADA's pipeline through impactful patent activities? Do you thrive in a dynamic, globally operating IP team and want to take ownership of complex litigation cases? Join our global Intellectual Property Team and support us as a Senior Patent Manager - Litigation (f/m/d).

What You Can Expect

1. Lead patent-related support for new product launches and lifecycle management, making independent strategic decisions.
2. Manage and respond to validity inquiries, cease-and-desist letters, and legal challenges from rights holders.
3. Coordinate nullity, cancellation, and European opposition proceedings with external patent attorneys.
4. Lead defense strategies in patent infringement lawsuits and interim injunction proceedings, collaborating with external counsel.
5. Advise senior leadership on risks and strategies involving patent-related market launches.
6. Negotiate and manage settlement and licensing agreements with a strong legal and commercial perspective.
7. Develop and implement defense strategies and proactively shape patent strategies for critical product launches.

Who We Are Looking For

1. A degree in chemistry or pharmacy.
2. Qualified patent attorney or assessor with a strong record in patent litigation.
3. European Qualifying Examination (EQE) pass or comparable expertise (preferred).
4. Extensive experience in European and German patent law, especially litigation and contentious matters.
5. Proven ability to manage complex patent disputes and independently drive litigation strategies.
6. Experience in industrial patent departments or top-tier law firms (highly desirable).
7. Meticulous, independent, proactive working style with a strong sense of responsibility.
8. Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills for sound decision-making.
9. Excellent English communication skills; German proficiency is an advantage.
