Atlas Air Service is one of Europe's leading full-service providers for business aircraft. Our aviation experts at Bremen and Ganderkesee handle maintenance, interior design, modifications, component repairs, and repainting of business jets from Embraer Executive Jets and Textron Aviation. We also broker used aircraft and operate a charter fleet across Europe.

We are seeking a kaufmännischen Leiter / Commercial Director (m/w/d) for our Bremen location, to start as soon as possible, in the field of aircraft maintenance (Part-145) / MRO.

Your Responsibilities

• Operational and strategic leadership of commercial functions in the MRO sector, with overall responsibility for sales activities.
• Managing efficient processes from quotation to invoicing.
• Customer communication and solutions-oriented complaint management regarding billing.
• Analyzing current structures and implementing improvements.
• Leading and developing staff members.
• Identifying technical and commercial challenges and making appropriate decisions in line with operational needs.
• Preparing and conducting controlling meetings, project reviews, or post-calculations.

Your Profile

• Technical education with additional business management background.
• Several years of experience in a similar role with personnel responsibility, ideally in an aircraft technical operation, particularly in MRO.
• Confident, motivated, and assertive leadership qualities, leading by example, entrepreneurial thinking and acting, pragmatic problem-solving, and a structured work approach.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English (B2 level).
• Proficient in MS Office and common ERP and CRM systems.
