Research assistant (m/f/d) Instructed Second Language Acquisition (TV-L E 13, 100%)
for three years.
Your tasks:
- Active participation in the development and implementation of research projects of the professorship for English Language Didactics / Second Language Acquisition
- Independent preparation and implementation of courses in English didactics and Instructed Second Language Acquisition of an average of 10 LVS per semester
- Conception, implementation, and evaluation of examination formats
- Supervision and advice of students (also during school internships)
- Willingness to undertake further training in higher education didactics is expected
Your profile:
- Successfully completed an academic university degree (master’s or comparable) in English with a teaching qualification (TEFL/TESOL), preferably with a second state examination and/or a doctorate
- Solid knowledge of TEFL and Instructed Second Language Acquisition
- English language proficiency of at least C1 level
- Initiative, teamwork, and organizational talent
Desirable:
- The willingness to do a doctorate or habilitation is supported
