What does your everyday look like?
You will lead the execution of our tech strategy by coordinating with internal teams, external vendors, and operational stakeholders to ensure successful rollout and adoption of technology solutions, reporting directly to the CEO. This role is strategic and hands-on, requiring a blend of project management, hotel tech, infrastructure, and innovation expertise.
Tech Project Vendor Management
- Design, test, and align guest journey processes with stakeholders
- Manage rollout and testing of guest-facing and back-of-house systems
- Own timelines, budgets, and milestones across multiple projects
- Act as primary contact for vendors; manage relationships and performance
- Translate business needs into technical requirements
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Liaise with hotel operations to ensure tech adoption and fit
- Conduct user testing and gather feedback for improvements
- Train staff on new tools and systems
Systems & Infrastructure Innovation
- Support migration to cloud-native architecture (e.g., Infrastructure as Code with Terraform)
- Develop proof-of-concept environments for future hotel tech
- Collaborate with IT partners to ensure secure, robust environments
- Explore ZTNA concepts for secure remote access
- Evaluate system interoperability, APIs, and hardware rollouts
Data, Privacy & Compliance
- Ensure GDPR compliance and secure data handling
- Coordinate IT security, backups, and business continuity protocols
Who are you?
- Proven experience in tech/digital project management, preferably in hospitality, travel, SaaS, or retail
- Strong understanding of hospitality tech ecosystems (PMS, RMS, CRM, IoT, guest apps)
- Comfortable with APIs, cloud tools, and modern IT infrastructures
- Experience managing partners, vendors, and contracts
- Potential for higher leadership roles
- Excellent communication skills across business and technical teams
- Fluent in German; English is a strong advantage
