The Opportunity:
The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for designing, managing, and supporting Azure-based infrastructure across Impact Level (IL) environments, ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient operations. This individual will support infrastructure automation, configuration management, and CI/CD pipeline development to optimize the cloud ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance the cloud infrastructure within Azure IL2, IL5, and IL6 environments.
- Develop and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions using BICEP.
- Utilize GitHub Enterprise Cloud and Server for secure version control and collaboration.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and infrastructure updates.
- Support cloud security compliance by implementing security best practices aligned with IL6 SRG requirements.
- Collaborate across teams for cloud operations and troubleshooting.
- Optimize cloud performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Provide Tier 3 support for cloud services and related infrastructure.
- Conduct disaster recovery planning and implementation.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to cloud environments, architecture, deployment, and security protocols.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Active DoD Secret clearance, eligible for TS/SCI.
- Azure Administrator (AZ-104) certification.
- CompTIA Security+ certification.
- Extensive experience in Azure cloud administration and infrastructure management.
- Strong understanding of BICEP for IaC.
- Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Expertise with GitHub Enterprise Cloud and Server.
- Experience with security configurations and IL6 compliance.
- Proven troubleshooting skills for cloud infrastructure and networking.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
Desired:
- Experience with AWS, Google Cloud.
- Automation skills with PowerShell or Python.
- Knowledge of DoD cloud policies and standards.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Understanding of cloud governance, IAM, and compliance.
- Experience with Azure DevOps or similar tools.

Pay Range:
Salary depends on various factors including location, experience, skills, and certifications. The range is $82,100 - $172,400 USD. We offer comprehensive benefits supporting health, wellness, retirement, education, and time off.
