(Senior) Security Architect (m / f / x)

You will support us in making the IT systems of Mercedes-Benz AG secure.

You will identify security-relevant vulnerabilities through threat analyses and develop tailor-made countermeasures for a wide range of IT systems.

You support software development projects throughout their entire lifecycle.

You design security concepts for IT systems and processes.

You will further develop our methods and tools to improve application security in software development projects.

Your profile

• You have in-depth knowledge of threat modeling, application security, secure software development, DevSecOps, or secure system design, and can apply it in practice.
• You have experience in creating threat analyses and analyzing system architectures.
• You understand how modern system architectures are structured and are able to quickly and effectively get an overview of how a specific IT system works in discussions with those responsible.
• You share our enthusiasm for IT security and are constantly educating yourself.
• You are a team player and show this by wanting to advance not only yourself but also your team and your environment.
• You have relevant experience and knowledge in the field of IT security.
• You can navigate cloud environments such as Azure or AWS and classify the most important services.
• You have quick comprehension, strong conceptual and analytical skills, and a good sense for situation-appropriate solutions.
• You are able to communicate empathetically and appropriately and can present and explain results to both technical experts and managers.
• You complement our team with very good written and spoken German and English skills.
