Cambridge International Systems, Inc. offers a full-time Network Engineer position based in Moehringen, Germany.

Qualified candidates must possess a current DoD Secret security clearance and meet TESA accreditation requirements. TESA Certification provides tax exemption benefits for both Germany and the US, along with other perks.

Role Responsibilities

  1. Design, implement, and maintain identity and access management (IAM) systems, including AAA protocols.
  2. Develop and enforce identity management strategies ensuring compliance with military and industry standards, including cloud security.
  3. Collaborate with teams to deploy IAM solutions meeting security and business needs, including classified networks.
  4. Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability testing to identify security threats.
  5. Create and maintain documentation for IAM systems.
  6. Stay updated on IAM trends and recommend system improvements.
  7. Work with security teams to align IAM systems with security policies, especially in military contexts.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, with 5+ years in IAM systems.
  • Strong knowledge of IAM protocols like SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect.
  • Experience with solutions like Active Directory, Azure AD, Okta, Ping Identity.
  • Understanding of security principles, including encryption and authorization.
  • Scripting skills in Python or PowerShell.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in secure military environments, including classified networks and DoD ICAM solutions.
  • Experience with cloud IAM solutions (AWS IAM, Azure AD, Google Cloud IAM).
  • Security Certification: Must hold a Security+ or higher (CISSP, CEH).
  • Active Secret security clearance.

Desired Qualifications

  • Scripting in PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with Azure or AWS cloud platforms.

Travel Requirements

  • Up to 10% travel, including occasional overnight stays.
  • Active passport required for OCONUS travel.

Work Environment & Conditions

  • Office setting, primarily desk work, with some short-distance travel on-site.
