Let's connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the TD20 Treaty UK & Ireland team at our headquarters in Hanover, Germany, join us on a permanent basis as a Underwriter London Market.

You can look forward to:

  • Modelling and Pricing: Designing individual reinsurance treaties and coverages for our primary insurance customers and brokers in the London Market.
  • Treaty Management: Supporting the treaty portfolio and monitoring its systematic development in collaboration with department management.
  • Customer Care: Building and supporting international customer relationships.
  • Portfolio Management: Taking responsibility for portfolio management, developing IT-supported tools, and making administrative system inputs.
  • Project Management: Organising internal projects and contributing to the optimisation of business processes.

You come equipped with:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., economics, business administration, banking, finance) or comparable qualification (e.g., certified insurance practitioner).
  • Initial experience with a reinsurer, such as internships, is an asset.
  • IT skills: MS Office (especially Excel), SAP, GEM/Re7.
  • Proficiency in German and English, with strong communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for business.
  • An open and confident manner, a self-reliant working style, and analytical thinking skills.
