The Role

We are looking for an experienced consultant with deep expertise in navigating customers through complex software implementation. Veeva’s Vault RIM suite is the industry’s only unified software solution that provides fully integrated regulatory information management (RIM) capabilities, including data and document management, submission publishing, and archival on a single cloud-based platform.

Veeva Systems is seeking consulting leaders with system implementation experience and a passion for helping customers optimize their regulatory data and document management processes.

As a key member of our Professional Services team, the Senior Consultant will be responsible for understanding our customers’ global regulatory needs, translating requirements into solution design, and defining global strategies for deploying our cloud-based solution for managing regulatory information across the enterprise.

This is a remote position with no specific work location requirement within the EU/UK, provided the candidate is near an airport and can meet travel requirements. Qualified EU/UK candidates are encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do

• Lead software implementation projects at life sciences companies, from large pharmaceutical firms to emerging biotechs
• Design solutions for the Vault Regulatory suite (Veeva Registrations, Veeva Submissions, Veeva Submissions Archive, Veeva Publishing)
• Conduct configuration requirements workshops, design, prototype, configure, and document content solutions
• Manage programs and projects, including resource planning and leading cross-functional teams
• Serve as the primary customer liaison, managing communication between project teams, customers, and internal stakeholders
• Mentor project team members and consultants, fostering skill development

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in life sciences or healthcare system implementations, as a consultant or business/IT representative
• Deep knowledge of drug development processes and regulatory submissions, including Labeling, Submission Publishing, and Viewing systems
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with diverse stakeholders
• Leadership skills, with experience guiding teams through difficult decisions and negotiations
• Technical aptitude and willingness to design and implement RIM solutions
• Expertise in life sciences compliance and computer systems validation
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness and ability to travel as required

Nice to Have

• Experience with systems like Veeva Vault, PAREXEL/LIQUENT InSight, CSC Regulatory Tracker, and others
• Consulting experience with major system integrators or software vendors
• Background in Regulatory Affairs, Regulatory Operations, or Pharmacovigilance
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device regulatory processes
• PMP certification or Agile/ACP certification
• Degree in life sciences, computer science, or related fields
• SaaS/Cloud experience
• Fluency in languages such as German, French, Spanish, or Italian
