IT ADMINISTRATOR / IT ADMINISTRATOR

WITH FOCUS ON SCHOOLS FULL-TIME

These are your main tasks:

• Development and expansion of the educational infrastructure
• Administration of the schools' networks and virtual server landscape
• Installation and maintenance of workstation devices and associated hardware and software
• Documentation of processes and programs
• Organizational and consulting tasks, technical training and support
• Support for two elementary schools and one secondary school
• Collaboration with pedagogical system supervisors and external service providers

What you bring with you:

• A successfully completed university of applied sciences or bachelor's degree in computer science, business informatics, information technology, or comparable IT-related courses of study
• Alternatively, extensive proven experience in administration within public administration or the school sector
• Knowledge of Microsoft environment: Active Directory, group policies, authorizations, servers from 2012, Windows 10 clients, MSSQL, and Exchange
• Network expertise: DHCP, DNS, IPv4, routers, managed switches, protocols, firewalls, VPN, spam filters, and IT management systems: MDM, software distribution, patch management, monitoring, VEEAM, VMware
• Strong troubleshooting skills, documentation experience, excellent service and project management skills, knowledge of ITIL
• Experience setting up systems like software distribution, monitoring, change management, or MDM
• A high degree of independence, responsibility, and initiative
• Structured, solution-oriented working style; quick grasp of complex infrastructures
• Teamwork and communication skills, proficiency in written and spoken English
• Confident interaction with external partners and service providers
