Position Description:

• Be involved in cutting-edge future technologies and exciting new product development programs
• Regularly consult with the development teams and identify inventive potential
• Guide our internal inventors in drafting invention disclosures
• Collaborate with external patent attorneys in drafting patent applications
• Conduct patent searches regarding patentability, freedom to operate, invalidity
• Participate in ongoing competitor patent monitoring and follow-up activities with external patent attorneys
• Prepare and conduct internal employee trainings

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Master's degree or equivalent in a technical, scientific, or economic discipline, with additional qualification as a patent engineer or similar
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in technology products
• Experience with a common IP management system is a plus
• Strong understanding of abstract concepts and quick learning ability
• Attention to detail and enthusiasm for complex technical matters
• Open-minded and confident communication across departments and hierarchies
• Fluent in German and English; additional languages like Chinese, Japanese, or French are advantageous
