As a company of the Itron Group, Allmess GmbH in Oldenburg has approximately 150 employees and specializes in the development, production, and sale of water and heat meters.
In this role, you will be responsible for further developing our business relationships with billing companies and our representatives in the distribution of radio solutions (water and heat meters, heat cost allocators, radio systems, and services) in Germany. They report to the sales manager of service companies.
Duties And Responsibilities:
- Taking control of the direct sales of radio systems and measurement equipment for consumption metering.
- Develop and uncover potential prospects at German billing companies during regular meetings and appointments.
- Preparing bids, negotiating rates, and presenting clients with personalized application and solution alternatives.
- In collaboration with our product management team, you will serve as the First Point of Contact and respond to technical inquiries.
- Collecting market data, analyzing competitors, and updating pricing lists in collaboration with the marketing and communications team.
- Making commissions for our salespeople will be your responsibility.
- You will take part in trade shows and assist with customer training.
Preferred Skillset And Experience
- Completed studies in the field of sales or completed training as an HVAC technician.
- At least 5+ years of practical experience in the sale of technical products and systems, ideally in the fields of measurement technology, sanitary technology, and heating technology.
- You know how to build and expand long-term customer relationships.
- Solid technical understanding, a high level of goal and customer orientation, and the ability to conclude contracts.
- Strong negotiation skills, confidence in presentations, and a very good command of written and spoken German, supplemented by a good command of English.
- Initiative, enthusiasm for technology, resilience, and a team player.
- Willingness to travel: 50%
