Network Engineer

For our long-standing business partner AIRBUS we are looking for you as a new employee of Tintschl Technik GmbH!

Candidates must be eligible to work on military or NATO projects with the necessary security clearances.

Your Tasks:

• Technical support for projects from the build phase to deployment, including network configuration (routing, switching, wireless) and network/IP management (IPAM, monitoring tools, CMDB).
• Troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure and network issues in time-sensitive environments.
• Creating technical documentation for network designs, implementations, processes, and tools.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Communication Technology is required.
• Proficiency in IT networks, including routing, switching, and firewall technologies.
• Familiarity with Software Defined Networking (SDN) solutions, such as Cisco ACI and Cisco SDA.
• Experience with the operation of LAN and WLAN infrastructures using Cisco technologies.
• Programming and scripting knowledge (e.g., Python, YAML, JSON) is an advantage.
• Understanding of network security (Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Stormshield, and Cisco ASA firewalls).
• Knowledge of IT services (e.g., Active Directory, SCCM, IAM) and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V).
• Strong grasp of monitoring and logging tools, as well as underlying principles.
• Fluent English is essential.
• Knowledge of German, French, or Spanish is an advantage.

• Salary range: €61,000 - €64,000 per year (based on a 35-hour workweek, depending on experience)
