Job Description:

KWS Berlin GmbH is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented candidate as a Material/Production Master Data Management Associate (m/f/d) in Berlin. In this role, you will play a vital part in the efficient management of master data records, provide support in project management and process improvement. The position focuses specifically on managing and governing product-related data, ensuring smooth operations supporting KWS Business Units globally.

This job is full-time (38h/week), hybrid (40% home-office), and limited to 2 years with the possibility of extension.

Your Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for maintaining Master Data in the SAP system, adhering to standards and governance to ensure data compliance and quality. You will support business users, facilitate standardization, digitalization, and automation of processes, and collaborate with internal departments to ensure business continuity. You will also participate in projects across regions to improve master data management.

Your Tasks:

  • Execute data changes in SAP ERP as requested and perform mass updates;
  • Create, approve, maintain, and change Materials, BOMs, Work Centers, Routings, and Production Versions;
  • Complete tasks in the work queue according to SLA;
  • Research and advise on complex master data elements related to regulatory requirements;
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on SAP MM and PP modules;
  • Conduct regular data quality activities to ensure compliance and consistency;
  • Create and maintain SOPs and training materials, and train end-users;
  • Identify, report, and resolve data quality issues through root cause analysis;
  • Support migration activities, including knowledge transfer, system testing, and user training;
  • Implement data management methodologies supporting business initiatives.

Your Profile:

  • Degree in Engineering, Business Management, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field;
  • Experience in Material or Product Master Data Management or Product Lifecycle Management Systems;
  • Experience with BOM, recipes, work centers, and routing requests;
  • Project management methodology experience;
  • Proficiency in SAP ECC and/or S4HANA;
  • Expertise in MS Office, especially Excel; PowerApps and Power BI are a plus;
  • Autonomous, multi-tasking, detail-oriented, and process-driven;
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills;
  • Innovative, sustainable mindset;
  • Fluent in English; additional languages (German, French, Cyrillic) are a plus.
