We are seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist for our Factory Sourcing team at our locations in Mannheim or Wetzlar (onsite). Join our international, diverse Global Sourcing team operating in an exciting market environment within Life Science, Industry, and Medical Devices sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supply Security: Create and update volume contracts, including price negotiations; monitor contracts for expiration; negotiate with suppliers during shortages or extended procurement times.
2. Sourcing Projects and Strategy: Relocate materials to approved suppliers; support sourcing projects and implement commodity strategies for plant-focused activities.
3. Phase-In and Phase-Out: Manage and monitor product phase-out and phase-in quantities; coordinate remaining purchase quantities and last-time-buy with suppliers; ensure ramp-up quantities and order initial samples.
4. Kanban and Consignment: Negotiate and establish Kanban and consignment agreements; maintain records in SAP; regularly update agreements focusing on prices and lead times; conduct supplier inquiries and audits.
5. Master Data Maintenance: Maintain procurement-relevant master data in SAP; verify supplier invoices for price discrepancies.
6. Qualifications: Completed commercial/technical training or equivalent with extensive experience in operational purchasing and good knowledge of procurement processes.
7. Skills: Good understanding of procurement contracts; proficiency in MS Office, SAP R/3 or S/4HANA; fluent in German and English; strong communication, negotiation, teamwork, independence, reliability, intercultural competence, and decision-making skills.
