Position Summary

This position is remote, but will be overseeing the southern sales territory of Louisiana, MIssissippi, and Texas. To be considered, a candidate must live in the territory. The Regional Sales Manager Poultry is responsible for promoting Big Dutchman products and services related to broiler, breeder, and turkey floor systems within a designated territory. This role focuses on supporting and expanding distribution networks, implementing strategic sales programs, and driving market penetration. The position requires the ability to gather and relay market intelligence, including competitive pricing insights, while also identifying product opportunities and deficiencies. Close collaboration with internal departments such as customer service, as well as assistance in collections and other assigned tasks, is essential. The ideal candidate is a proactive, results-driven individual with strong communication skills and a deep understanding of the poultry production industry. This position is expected to act aggressively and proactively in the best interest of the company to secure sales in the territory and realize the full potential of the territory.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Promote Big Dutchman products and services in the area of floor equipment (broilers, breeders, and turkeys).
• Support and develop distribution within the designated territory.
• Provide market intelligence in general, including feedback on price competitiveness in the field.
• Identify product opportunities and deficiencies.
• Implement sales programs to increase sales, product mix, and market penetration.
• Work cooperatively with floor customer service and other BD departments.
• Assist in collection.
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years sales experience or a combination of background, education, and skills.
• Good Knowledge of broilers and/or turkey industry.
• Basic computer skills with a basic understanding of Microsoft Excel.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• College degree preferred, but not required.
