Job Summary
As a GS Site Supervisor, you will oversee all activities at a project site related to industrial maintenance, managing teams ranging from 25 to 350 workers, ensuring mission success and compliance with policies and industry standards.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Implement all activities related to industrial maintenance projects on-site.
- Supervise maintenance mechanics, trades, and service professionals.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with HR to address employee issues.
- Work with HSE professionals to resolve and prevent safety and environmental issues.
- Manage budgets and financial reports.
- Maintain the site professionally and coordinate with other departments.
- Keep management informed of issues and concerns.
- Enforce Zero Harm and Courage to Care philosophies.
- Communicate effectively and compile reports.
- Coordinate with USG and LOGCAP representatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 3 years of supervisory or management experience.
- Minimum 5 years of overseas contracting or related experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree, Technical Degree, or Trades Certification (HVAC, Electric, Power Generation).
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
- Understanding of contract requirements and management.
- Knowledge of TDB Med 530, 577, Mil-Standards 3006C.
- Experience in custodial services, construction, and overseeing subcontractors.
- Experience working with HR and HSE professionals.
- Knowledge of budget management and report writing.
- Familiarity with TDP, SOW, and DSVL.
- Valid passport with at least 12 months validity and 6 blank pages.
