Description

The Event Coordinator/Banquet Captain plays a vital role in ensuring the successful execution of events, overseeing all logistical details from setup to completion. This position requires strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail to coordinate various events while maintaining high standards of service and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and setup for various events, ensuring all details are managed effectively.
  • Book events and reach out to potential clients to secure bookings.
  • Collaborate with the operations team and kitchen staff to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Work closely with staff before and during events to ensure everything runs smoothly.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while interacting with clients and guests.
  • Quickly resolve any issues that arise during events and maintain a calm, professional presence.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in event coordination, banquet operations, or hospitality preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Dynamic and energetic personality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by events.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Intermediate skills in MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
