In the online travel industry, with fast-changing user behavior and the increasing role played by price comparison websites, offering the best price grants disproportionate gains. Travelers choose Agoda because they are confident they can find the best hotels at the best price.

Success can only be achieved by combining a programmatic approach to optimize volumes and margins in the short term with a strategic approach to respond to reactions from other players, including customers, hotels, competitors, and regulatory bodies.

We are looking for a senior leader to craft Agoda’s global strategic pay-per-click strategy and execute it using a wide range of tactics and tools, from price display to machine learning algorithms.

This leader will coordinate closely with Agoda’s senior management, marketing, and product teams, while managing and expanding a team of talented pricing campaign managers and analysts.

What You Would Be Doing

  • Work with C-level executives and other stakeholders to craft a global pricing framework aligned with Agoda’s strategic priorities.
  • Collaborate with the Product team to develop tools for executing and monitoring pricing actions and improving price display across channels.
  • Partner with the Market Development team to gather price benchmarking data and respond to market moves from competitors and hotel partners.
  • Design and deploy pricing strategies that balance short-term financial goals with long-term strategic imperatives.
  • Manage a multi-million dollar budget and provide visibility to internal stakeholders.
  • Lead, motivate, and expand a team of analysts and campaign managers by hiring top talent.

What You Need to Be Good At to Succeed

  • Experience articulating strategic issues and negotiating with C-level executives; experience in leading strategy consulting is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with a love for data.
  • Ability to foster cooperation across diverse teams and nationalities.
  • Proven people management skills, including hiring and developing talent.
  • P&L management experience.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and a get-things-done attitude.
  • Exposure to IT and Product Development; basic coding skills are a plus.
