Role Overview:

The BRMO will design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive risk management framework at Syntes. Reporting directly to the CEO, the role serves as the primary contact for business risk issues with internal and external stakeholders, without direct management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify internal and external threats (Risk Identification)
• Assess risks for likelihood and impact (Risk Assessment)
• Develop strategies to mitigate risks (Risk Mitigation)
• Report risk-related information to senior management and stakeholders (Reporting and Enhancement)

The role involves activities such as risk assessment, policy development, risk register maintenance, internal controls, training, business continuity planning, incident management, and communication with senior management.

Functional areas of focus include payments, accounting, investment administration, compliance, technologies, and senior management.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent with relevant certifications, fluency in English, knowledge of risk management controls and compliance, experience with industry standards, and the ability to work independently in an international environment while maintaining accuracy, integrity, and discretion.

The candidate should be able to commute daily to Syntes’s office in Vaduz.
