We are looking for a Pre-Sales Engineer to work within our Pre-Sales Team.
The role involves working with and supporting the sales team in all new business and new-to-existing opportunities within the EV Charging domain (CPO, EMSP, Utilities, Service Providers, etc.), to secure new solution sales and contracts. The candidate will liaise with other teams to ensure we present the best proposition to meet client needs. The presales manager must also be comfortable exchanging solution knowledge with customers and prospects via excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Ideally, candidates will have a background and experience within the EV charging domain, or proven experience in other technical areas like Telecom, billing, CRM, etc. However, a willingness and ability to learn new technologies and business modules are essential.
Responsibilities :
Contribute at all stages of the Pre-Sales process including :
- Assisting with the qualification of opportunities / leads
- Leading and coordinating demonstrations of the complete solution portfolio (including with C-level)
- Leading internal presales processes from opportunity to contract sign-off
- Collaborating internally with Operations, Products, R&D, and other relevant stakeholders
- Driving solutions forward to prospects, acting as the solution architect in key bids
- Interacting with customers, prospects, market experts, and colleagues to understand requirements, and crafting solution portfolios
- Training internal staff in the use of the solution when required
- Developing ROI and business case proposals for new business prospects, Pre-Sales consultancy exercises to identify business returns and justify ROI
- Proactively scoping technical solutions to address customer requirements
- Writing technical proposals in commercial proposals / RFQ / RFP
- Drafting technical outlines for trials / Proof of Concepts
- Communicating customer inputs to Driivz to identify market trends, product improvements, and roadmaps
- Conducting training sessions for Driivz customers regarding product functionalities
Skills, ability, and experience :
- English as a second language
- Experience in Pre-Sales within Telecom markets and/or EV charging is an advantage
- Excellent presentation and demonstration skills for both small and large audiences
- Background in electrical engineering is an advantage
- Ability to multitask and prioritize under pressure
- Self-motivated to deliver quality service internally and externally
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Commercially minded
- Ability to build relationships with customers and prospects
- Ability to analyze and understand customer requirements and key drivers
- Ability to discuss and demonstrate business benefits and value to prospects of varying seniority
