Key Responsibilities

  • Identify appropriate methodologies for in-market and portfolio forecasting based on product market dynamics, using extrapolation, trend smoothing, and patient-based forecasting, challenging stakeholders appropriately.
  • Continuously monitor the competitive market landscape in defined areas of interest for Grünenthal.
  • Train the commercial organization on best trend forecasting methodologies and patient modeling.
  • Support anti-trust analysis to facilitate business deals.
  • Analyze the competitive landscape and assess success probabilities for growth opportunities in innovative cases.
  • Create and document business cases, applying best practices.
  • Perform complex market data analysis from multiple sources.
  • Transform data and insights into compelling stories that drive decision-making and impactful actions.
  • Challenge business partners on their commercial performance and analytical accuracy.
  • Deliver analysis and support projects in an agile manner, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Deep understanding of patient-based modeling and ability to adapt models accordingly.
  • Strong expertise in commercial trend forecasting.
  • Knowledge of pharma marketing, market access, sales management, and macroeconomic concepts.
  • Experience in competitive intelligence and anti-trust analysis.
  • Ability to develop business cases and tell data-driven stories.
  • Proficiency in data management and cleansing.
  • Stakeholder management and challenge skills.
  • Good business acumen and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Project management capabilities.
