The UniCredit Graduate Program Client Solutions is a development path into our top-tier products & services platform, launching an international career at UniCredit. The investment banking division, Client Solutions, includes Corporate Solutions (advisory, financing, risk management, trade, working capital), Individual Solutions (investment and protection products), and Group Payments Solutions (payments and liquidity management).

Within Advisory & Financing Solutions, the Equity Capital Markets (ECM) team in Munich covers corporate clients across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, offering a comprehensive platform for equity solutions such as IPOs, share placements, capital increases, bonds, and derivatives, in partnership with Kepler Cheuvreux.

What you'll be doing

Tasks and responsibilities as a Trainee in the ECM team include

  • Drafting and preparing client and marketing presentations for ECM transactions
  • Understanding ECM instruments like IPOs, share placements, bonds, and buybacks
  • Researching market developments and preparing marketing materials
  • Conducting industry analysis, benchmarking, and company valuations with Advisory
  • Preparing transaction documents and participating in due diligence meetings

What you'll need to succeed

Additional requirements

  • Finalizing master's in business, finance, or economics, or recent graduate (last 2 years)
  • Preferably experience in ECM investment banking
  • Knowledge of ECM databases, Bloomberg, Dealogic
  • Strong analytical and financial skills
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations (WpHG, FiMANoG, etc.)
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver quality results
  • Confident communication with clients and partners
  • Willingness to learn and face new challenges
  • Motivated team player
  • Fluent in English and German
