Structure needs a system – and an eye for detail
As a Manufacturing Engineer Production Processes & CIP at Airbus Aerostructures GmbH in Hamburg Finkenwerder, you will play a central role in the further development of production processes in the area of structural assembly. Whether series production or new technologies – you will play an active role in shaping, evaluating technical specifications, optimizing processes and contributing your experience in production planning. A position for anyone who understands technology, thinks in terms of processes and wants to take on responsibility.

The gross annual salary is between €64,000 and a maximum of €67,500, depending on qualifications. Please note that we can only consider candidates who have a valid, unrestricted work permit for the EU (not a student visa).

Job description

Tasks

  • Planning, optimisation and further development of production processes in structural assembly
  • Creation and maintenance of work plans, calculations and production documentation
  • Processing of deviations in design documents and implementation of stop/proceed orders
  • Introduction of new technologies and implementation of CIP and cost-saving initiatives
  • Validation of engineering requirements (Definition Dossier) considering economic and scheduling aspects
  • Definition and implementation of requirements for tools and production equipment
  • Management of feedback loops for continuous improvement
  • Participation in projects and sub-projects to optimise production

Requirements

  • Successfully completed technical studies, e.g. in mechanical engineering, aircraft construction or engineering
  • ALTERNATIVE: Further training as a technician or business administrator
  • Several years of professional experience in production, production planning and manufacturing engineering
  • First experience in process improvement
  • Very good knowledge of Python, MS Excel and Google Workspace as well as initial experience with SAP and Catia V5
  • Business fluent German (min. C1) and good English skills (min. B2)
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
